About KIPI

PPI Australia was founded in Canberra to unite and represent Indonesian students across Australia. Today, PPIA connects and supports more than 20,000 students while promoting Indonesian culture and youth excellence internationally.

One of its flagship programs is KIPI (Konferensi Internasional Pelajar Indonesia), an annual conference where Indonesian students and scholars share research, discuss key national issues, and propose practical solutions for Indonesia's development.

KIPI also opens collaboration between students, academics, government, civil society, and industry across Indonesia and Australia. The conference is built on knowledge-sharing, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

On 13-14 July 2026, the 11th KIPI returns to Sydney, New South Wales, as a space to exchange ideas, expand networks, and build impactful partnerships for Indonesia's future.

Call for Abstracts and Policy Briefs Now Open!

We invite students worldwide to submit RESEARCH ABSTRACTS or POLICY BRIEFS aligned with this year’s theme and conference tracks. Be part of the dialogue that shapes Indonesia’s future on the global stage.
